Gasket Material  Amber Polyurethane .080"x 95A duro

This Gasket fits mistral Equipe II and Superlight II boards.  Some models require triming a half inch off the end. It also fits the Bic Hybrid (1/4 inch needs to be trimmed off end of gasket)

This Polyurethane material is flexible so not to interfere with the daggerboard movement.  This gasket is a little thicker and stiffer than the .062 gasket.  If your daggerboard works easy before use this gasket.  If the daggerbaord worked hard go with the 0.62 gasket.

Installation requires that the mold release compound be cleaned off the gasket in the area to be glued.  The manufacture recommends using Ajax or Comet to scrub the gasket.  I also sand the area of the gasket to be glued with 60 - 100 grit.

2-part epoxy works as a glue.  After the glue is dry, use a straight edge and cut the slot from hole to hole.  Holes are already in the gasket. Cutting the slot before installation makes it very difficult to align accurately.

Wind Power will remove and install the new gaskets.  The cost depends on the time to remove the old gasket.  Some come off easy and others are a chore.
