Ladies Night on Mondays has been going well for the girls. They have learned how to beach start and are now comfortably using their harnesses. They can even sail no-hands now! There were plenty of new kids in the Weds Kids program.
The Boyz on Wed. night are getting their jibes perfected.
SUP Stand -Up Paddling is a great way to stay in shape, work on your balance skills and your Core. Wind Power has rentals or just buy a paddle and use your own longboard.
Those of you interested in trying out Kiting, put kiting on your calendar the end of December. Wind Power will begin the winter kiting lessons once the lake freezes over. 2 - 3 hours of lessons and you are kiting in the Winter. Develop those skills and enjoy the winter outdoors. And come spring you'll be ready to kite on soft water. Call Kevin for more details.

Wind Power has successfully taught hundreds of kids in the Fox Valley to sail this summer on the O'Pen Bic kids sailboat. Winneconne had sailing in their 6th grade phy ed class as well as the Summer Rec. program.
Steve Eliasen taught a sailing program with the ALPS School in Oshkosh where the kids studied sailing vessels and design and made their own rigs with a $10 budget. 60 ALPS kids were taught how to sail on the O'Pen Bic in the morning. In the afternoon they tested out The rigs they made on the O'Pen Bic hulls. I was very impressive to see how easily the kids learned how to sail and even more when every home made rig worked. It's refreshing to see the kids learn so much life, nature and energy from sailing.
